The details for nearly 8,500 pioneers and their descendants are organized alphabetically according to the 142 principal pioneer families identified by the author through exhaustive research. A 44-page introduction outlines the migrations of Mennonite families from Pennsylvania to Upper Canada between 1799 and 1835, the formation of the German Company, and the locations in which families settled.
